Painkiller: Resurrection is an FPS, full of no-limits action, that puts you in an exciting story. You must play the part of Willian Sherman, better known as Bill.
Bill`s story starts after his death. In real life Bill was a murderer, and in his last mission he blew up a bus full of innocent people so Hell had no problems claiming his soul. Now Bill is not yet in Hell but in Purgatory, and has attracted the attention of sky warriors, with the chance to redeem himself, using his skills and many weapons.
In a world influenced by the medieval ideas of Hell, Purgatory and Dante`s Inferno, in Painkiller: Resurrection you find yourself in a game with a mix of fast levels with no limits, huge maps to explore, where the worst of any Hell awaits.
Painkiller: Resurrection includes a co-operative multi-player mode, but in this demo version you can only play one player mode in the first level.
